Hello, my name is Quilninious. This website was created as a welcoming space to connect, express, and grow together through the joy of painting. It’s a place for anyone seeking community, shared moments, and meaningful memories. True connection is one of life’s most beautiful gifts, and this space was made to help nurture it. We also believe in giving back by partnering with others to support and uplift our community.
My Story
My story runs deep, so I’ll keep this brief while sharing what led me to this painting journey and teaching paint parties. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over a decade in various roles, and I was also blessed to play professional basketball. During my playing years, I loved spending my off days working with youth and their families, even creating children’s stories to uplift and inspire others.
After both my parents passed, life grew heavier, and I struggled to reconnect with people. Emotions came in waves, and even my work began to lose its meaning. Then one day, I heard a simple message: paint. I tried to ignore it—but it came again. So I bought some paints, brushes, and canvases, and in that moment, I found a peace I didn’t realize I’d been missing.
That peace is what inspired me to create this space—to offer others moments of joy, calm, and connection. I do this in loving memory of my mom, which is why I proudly offer discounted opportunities for mothers who attend in groups.
